Welcome to the website of the Heriot­-Watt University and Queen Margaret College Mountaineering Club.
We are a very active club with official club trips every weekend during term time, as well as weekly climbing session in Sports Hall 1, weekly pub meets and lots more as and when we feel like it.

 tri In the BUFF! The HWUMC BUFF has arrived! Come along to the pub on Wednesday night to get your hands on one. Alternatively come to the Gear shed at 5pm on Friday 19th December, before we leave for the Ben Nevis Inn!

 tri No more climbing: Until next term! Exams have begun and thus we can't use the wall for the next 2 weeks, and then we'll be away. If you're desperate to climb or just kind of want to, get onto the forum and ask loudly!
 tri First Aid Training A FREE (that's right- FREE!) 1st Aid training evening will take place on Tuesday 20th January 2009 for all club members. Venue to be confirmed.

~ Next Meet ~

16-18th January, Loch Morlich. This is also the first winter skills weekend, so seats on the minibus will be prioritised for people on the courses. The Rest of the busload will be at the fancy campsite down the road, and most likely head off somewhere from the ski centre car park past the northern corries. Pickup as usual at the gear shed at 1800, costs etc tbc.
