Given the fantastic weather forecast, we've decided to alter our plans and go to Lochnagar, a place the club doesn't often go to. It's in the southern cairngorms and is widely regarded as one of the best mountains in Scotland. It's quite a big day, but the weather looks fantastic, so don't miss this one!

Laminated maps will be available, and make sure you've got crampon compatible boots and lots of warm clothing. The forecast may be very good, but it's always possible for it to be completely wrong! Headtorches are a must as well.

Haymarket station (or my flat if you know it) (haymarket) @ 0540, Sainsbury's (gorgie) @ 0550. At the shed at 0615 to sort kit before an 0630 departure.
