- You will need to enter your username and password in order to sign up. Don't know them? Check your email - it may be that you are not on the official member list and are therefore not receiving club emails. You must contact the committee to get this sorted ASAP on the address found on the contact page.
- The number of places on each trip is always 12 (including the driver), unless otherwise stated. If you see 12 names on the list, you can still sign up but you will be considered as being on the waiting list.
- If someone decides to cancel his/her commitment, the list will be automatically updated, as long as you are removed from the list by a committee member. IF YOU ARE NOT COMING, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE SURE THAT A COMMITTEE MEMBER REMOVE YOUR NAME FROM THE LIST. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN US CHARGING YOU FOR THE TRIP!

Next Meet: 12/03-14/03 Naismith Hut, Assynt
Joe, Today, 12:03
Naismith Hut, Assynt (see here for details)
This hut is up in the far North West of the Highlands. It's a really nice part of the world and quite remote. The mountains of the area are quite small, most aren't even Munros, but they are some of the most unique mountains in Scotland. Stac Pollaidh is a wonderful rocky ridge in miniature and Suilven is an amazing mountain which looks different from every angle.
Nearby is the sea cliff climbing area of Reiff. This is one of the best areas for sea cliff climbing in the UK, according to many people, but because it's tucked away in the far NW, it isn't climbed on as much as other, more obvious places. There is also climbing on Stac Pollaidh.
There is hut space for 8 people on this trip so places are quite limited. Sleeping bags are needed but mattresses are provided.
Map is OS Landranger Sheet 15 Loch Assynt.
